Who'll Replace Donny?

So, Donny's time in the Big Brother House is up, which has prompted us to think about who might replace him?

As the series has only just got started, it is inevitable that someone else will come-in to bolster the numbers, even though we've just seen the arrival of Jade's clan.

We don't want to get involved in a frenzy of speculation all over again, but there's a few names that spring to mind as likely candidates.

The first is Jason Cundy, the ex-Chelsea defender who was rumoured to be arriving with his wife Lizzie when the series began.

We don't really know much about him to be honest; all we know is that the big pull for including him on the show was to put a bona fide couple in the House.

However, so soon after the arrival of Jade, her Mum and her boyfriend, we don't think the show needs another 'family'. So, who else might be waiting in the wings?

Former Coronation Street star Julie Goodyear is a good possibility. The actress played brash barmaid Bet Lynch for years and was apparently in serious talks to appear, but is she too 'diva' for producers to bother including her in the show? Who knows.

Someone that is absolutely desperate to appear, and has allegedly been pestering the producers to death and spreading rumours about her impending arrival, is Lauren Harries.

Born James Harries, the 29-year-old was something of a child prodigy in the late 80's, being lauded as an antiques expert at the age of ten. However, it later transpired that he'd learnt 'textbook' answers and valuations, so was basically a fake.

That odd-looking and curly-haired little boy eventually turned into a somewhat bizarre woman, with a barmy family to match. So Lauren, who applied for Big Brother 3 in 2002, could certainly add something to the house, namely (more) weirdness!

Anyway, it's all speculation for now, and we'll just have to wait and see what happens over the coming week.
