Don't Even Go There Girl!
At around 1.15am, Anne instigated a discussion about families
She talked about how each generation was living for longer
and how the following generations could feasibly spend 80
years together if they married.
"I think the idea of love forever is wonderful,"
she declared, perhaps not employing sufficient tact given
that she used to chat to people for a living.
You see, also privy to the conversation was Les Dennis, who's
(much younger) wife Amanda Holden had a fling with actor Neil
Morrissey in 2000.
Les remained quiet however, perhaps contemplating how his
wife had since said about the affair in an interview, "I
was asking life questions like whether I was with the right
person for the rest of my life."
Fortunately for the pair, they've since got over the upset
and are now closer than ever, although Les refrained from
discussing the issue tonight.
Instead, he came out with a statistic about how women will
say 8000 words in a day and men will say just 2000. See lads,
you're actually right when you say she doesn't stop gabbing!
(Oooh, I sense a backlash from the sisters here! - Ed)
The conversation came to an end when Les decided to sniff
his socks and then ask if anyone else did that.
After a groan from the others, he frankly declared, "I'm
"Yeh, you ARE!" came the almost unanimous response.
