The Group's Reaction To The Nominations
The eighth round of nominations took place yesterday and
only seven out-of the eleven remaining contestants got the
chance to vote.
Big Brother gathered the group together this evening to hear
the result of the nominations, as Rex held Nicole's hand through
the divide and Dale sat next to Stu on the sofa.
There was silence as Stuart's name was called, the property
man giving a kind-of victory sign with his clenched fist in
response. When Big Bro named Dale next, the smaller hunk smiled,
looking as pleased as punch.
Once Big Bro had finished, the two nominees high-fived each
other and whooped, as Rex came across to congratulate them.
Normally, the nominees' peers would commiserate, but remember
that the lads have made a big fuss about wanting to go lately.
Still, Rex seemed extremely chuffed that he wasn't
Dale said, "If Stuart goes and I stay, I'll be pi**ed-off
'cos Stuart's gone (and not me). But if I go and Stu stays,
I'll be pi**ed-off 'cos people like him more than me!"
The 21-year-old then remarked: "It's over for one of
us on Friday Stu". Indeed.
Stu later told his younger peer that he will likely survive
because he'll get the female/ teen vote, and recalled that
Dale's name has been shouted over the wall by fans loads of
This is the second time that Dale and Stuart have faced eviction,
having both gone 'up' for the first time last week when nine
people were in the running.
