Sixth Round Nominees Announced
The sixth round of nominations took place yesterday and for
the second week in a row, the Housemates from Hell had to
complete a task (dicing onions this time) in-order to win
the opportunity to take part.
All thirteen housemates nominated and the result is that
this week's nominees are: Darnell Swallow, Mohamed Mohamed
and Rebecca Shiner.
So, it looks like Darnell's former subjects punished him
for putting them into Hell last week as predicted, because
the only former Housemate from Hell not to nominate
the songwriter was Sara. But will the would-be RnB star have
his contract terminated this week? Well, we're not so sure.
Darnell causes quite a bit of friction within the House and
although he shows signs of admiral behaviour occasionally,
his oft-aggressive manner takes away from that. He's liked
by fans just a bit more than Mohamed is, which is not a lot
to be quite frank.
Mo doesn't really do much except eat, and there's not a lot
to say about the toy demonstrator. For weeks he's pretty-much
been Rex's lapdog, but he just seems to have become more and
more moody lately. There's no real reason to keep him in the
And now on to Rebecca...
Bex was way ahead on our 'Who Do You Want Out Next?' Poll
and held around 30% of the vote against Mo and Rex's 10% (each).
This is undoubtedly because she's such a pain in the butt!
She stirs, she has strops, she insists on stripping-off, however
her comedy relationship with Luke could keep her in this week.
Not that we decide, but if we were kicking-out someone who
adds little to the show – not someone we particularly
dislike – we'd want rid of Mohamed this week. Indeed,
he may well go if fans decide to lay off Bex even though they
have the opportunity to get rid of her now.
This would echo what happened when Mario faced the nutty
nursery nurse. Fans were gunning for her in the Polls before
the nominees were announced, but as soon as they realised
they could get rid of Mario, the majority switched to wanting
If it happens again, Bex could get a reprieve, which is something
we wouldn't mind because we'll never tire of hearing Luke
say, "No Rebecca, Noooo!" We appreciate, however,
that many, many fans have had enough of her now and acknowledge
that her days are probably numbered.
Luke's peers suggested recently that Bex is just using him
to stay in the game, but if (and it's a big if) fans decide
to keep her this week, it's kind-of the other way around.
In other words, she makes Luke a more interesting character
but she's just swimming against the tide as far as the game
