Third Nominations In Detail
The third round of nominations took place yesterday and Luke
very nearly missed-out on the chance to vote because he was
in prison at the time.
However, Bex baled him out just in the nick of time by relinquising
the 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card on behalf of the group. Darnell,
Mohamed and Rex were opposed-to the idea, and if you look
at who Luke went-on to nominate, you'll see why!
The third round was the first time that latecomer Stuart
was allowed to take part, and the procedure took a mammoth
5 hours and 40 minutes. Here's who nominated who:
Dale - Rex & Mohamed
Dale's first nominee was Rex. "A lot of the time, the
way that he says things is just unnecessary, and he still
tries to really control a lot of things... it's like he's
telling housemates what to do." Also, Dale wasn't impressed
that Rex had basically said Bex couldn't have cookies because
she is overweight. About second nominee Mohamed, Dale said,
"I don't think he's a team player at all. A lot of time
he just sleeps... he eats sh*tloads of food. He just seems
to only be interested in himself really. I don't think he
brings anything to the House".
Darnell - Jennifer & Mario
Darnell's reasons were not made public.
Jennifer - Rachel & Kathreya
Jen nominated Rachel first, because she is sly and manipulative,
and irritating because she smiles all the time insincerely.
Also, she tittle-tattles between the different groups. Before
giving the name of second nominee Kat, Jen said that she was
shocked to be nominating her. "She's just changed, there's
like a different side come out which I don't really like.
She's been a bit sly because apparently there was an argument
going-on and Kat pretended to be asleep to listen". Jen
also accused Kat of being false.
Kathreya - Jennifer & Rebecca
About second nominee Rebecca, Kat said, "We sing 'happy'
songs but she doesn't like those. I respect that she doesn't
have to like everything we do, but she shouldn't try to destroy
the happy house".
Lisa - Jennifer & Rebecca
Jennifer was Lisa's first nominee because whatever anyone
says, it affects her emotionally which can make people uncomfortable
or cause friction. Rebecca was her second nominee because
she's constantly acting like a naughty, spoilt child. "If
Rebecca doesn't get her own way, for example being picked
for a task, she kicks off. There's just no peace and quiet.
With Rebecca she's always having to look for something to
do, and that can be annoying."
Luke - Darnell & Rex
Luke's first nomination was for Darnell, because he over-analyses
everything and that's his main flaw. "He's constantly
thinking. He almost tortures himself at times, but him doing
that is causing friction in the House all the time."
Luke chose Rex as his second nominee, ranting, "Rex basically
wants to control everything, he wants to be the guy in charge.
The guy is an utter control freak and he doesn't understand
what it's like to be in a situation that he's not controlling.
Rex wants to be the dictator in this house; it ain't working
out too well for him. There is no President in the Big Brother
Mario - Rex & Mohamed
Mario chose Rex first, citing the incident last week where
he defaced Jen's portrait of Stu. "His actions pretty-much
summed him up as a person. It was pretty low of Rex to do
that and I just think he's a bit of a male chauvinist pig.
To do that to a work of art that Jennie was proud of…
he's gone right down in my estimation". Mario's second
nomination was for Mohamed, because during the recent blind
task his peer was running around tapping people who couldn't
see, and threw things in their faces. Also, he flicked water
around the place, which went on the floor meaning people might
slip. "I don't mind if he then goes and mops the floor
up and clears the mess up, but who mops it up? Lisa."
Michael - Darnell & Rex
Mikey's reasons were not made public.
Mohamed - Rebecca & Jennifer
Mohamed's reasons were not made public.
Rachel - Jennifer & Rebecca
Rachel's reasons were not made public.
Rebecca - Rex & Rachel
"He's talks about himself constantly," said Rebecca
of first nominee Rex, before adding that the chef moans about
everything, always bigs himself up, talks down to people,
says sly things and is grumpy. "I could go on and on;
he is just outrageously annoying," she concluded, before
mocking the way he speaks. "I've been saving the best
for last... Rachel. Arrgh!" said Bex naming her second
nominee, before ranting, "She grates on me. She is so
f***ing pathetic and fake. Get a grip woman. So annoying!"
Rex - Rebecca & Jennifer
About his first nominee Rebecca, Rex said, "She's absolutely
doing my head in. She's very childish. She's (been) coming
up with absolute rubbish and causing a scene wherever she
can. Her attitude over the last few days stunk and she is
trying to make it as difficult as possible for me". His
second nominee was Rachel because she has bad-mouthed him
from Day 1, talking about him negatively behind his back,
but being nice to his face. "She is the boiling point
of all arguments."
Stuart - Rex & Rachel
Stu's reasons were not made public.
So, Rebecca had a close escape and it was something of a
surprise to see Rachel getting so many votes. We say that
because the trainee teacher has made little impact on fans
over the past 3 weeks, yet the housemates who nominated her
dubbed her sly, manipulative, fake and annoying. Uh? We'd
say she was a bit dull.
Anyway, the tally after the third round of nominations was:
Jennifer and Rex: 6 each, Rebecca: 5, Rachel: 3, Darnell and
Mohamed: 2 each, Kathreya and Mario: 1 each.
As a result, Jennifer and Rex will face eviction this Friday
at the 3rd Eviction of Big Brother 9.
