Channel 4 Make Statement Over Bust-up
Channel 4 have made an early statement about the friction
last night (Day 22 into Day 23), which caused the live E4
feed to be cut for a full hour.
A Big Brother spokesperson said of the matter: "At around
12.45am, an argument took place between a number of housemates.
During that argument, Dennis allegedly spat at Mohamed".
"Big Brother immediately intervened to separate the
housemates into separate bedrooms, where they remained for
the rest of the night. Big Brother has been talking to the
housemates involved and reviewing the situation before any
decisions on appropriate action are taken."
"Big Brother is continuing to monitor the House, which
subsequently calmed down and the housemates slept through
Channel 4 – who according to insiders are contemplating
whether to show the footage or not – are expected to
release another statement later today detailing the repercussions,
if any, for specific members of the group, and also clarify
whether tonight's eviction will go ahead or not.
Here at BBO, we expect that it will, and that Sylvia will
be evicted as anticipated. Otherwise, Channel 4 will have
the embarrassment of having to refund phone votes for the
second week in a row.
