Davina Interviews Alexandra
Alexandra spoke to BB Host Davina McCall today, in a bid
to put the record straight and address fans before any articles
are published. She has already spoken to HEAT magazine, but
her comments won't be published until Tuesday.
First, Davina showed Alex a VT of all her aggressive and
argumentative behaviour, including the highly-controversial
gangster comments. The evictee looked dour-faced throughout.
However, as soon as Alex began talking, her apparently remorseful
face had gone, replaced by a slight smirk as she blamed the
show's editing and suggested that it was selective. The 23-year-old
accepted, however, that she did say all those things.
The host then pointed-out that Alex's peers felt threatened,
but they got to see an unedited view of her behaviour.
To that, Alex said she didn't think anyone felt threatened
and claimed that she wasn't bullying them.
Davina then quoted Alex saying that she likes to be a threat
to people, but Alex didn't really have an answer to that,
attempting to differentiate between 'being a threat' and 'being
threatening' towards someone.
When Davina mentioned the word 'bully' and showed her a VT
of her upset/ belittled peers in the Diary Room, Alex revealed
that her theory was to confront people when she had a problem
Davina then gave the interviewee some stick about being too
harsh on Bex over the chips, something that went over the
head of Alex. Alex then claimed that she was first to console
people when they were upset, and made a differentiation between
the words 'bully' and 'bossy', preferring to think of herself
as the latter.
The accounts executive then stated that she wouldn't play
the 'I've had a hard life card', but in response Davina pointed-out
that she isn't a victim.
The conversation then moved-on to the fact that many of her
peers nominated her and a huge number of fans wanted Alex
evicted on Friday. Alex waffled about her best and worst points,
before Davina said, "You know, your bad points are BAD".
When asked if she has any regrets, Alex avoided answering
the question, saying that she always vowed to be herself if
she got into the Big Brother House. When asked if she had
learned anything, Alex replied, "Yeah, I've learned that
I'm a lot more hot-headed than perhaps I thought".
After some prompting from Davina, Alex suggested that she
would be prepared to look at the way she goes about things
in respect of making her point and challenging people.
And that was that; no apologies and no real remorse quite
The atmosphere in the House seems to be much more relaxed
now that she's gone, so Alex will definitely not be missed.
