Relationship Expert Comments On Rex And Nicole
Relationship expert Jo Hemmings appeared on Big Brother's
Little Brother today to comment on Rex and Nicole's turbulent
Dubbing the pair 'materialistic and shallow', she said, "They
deserve each other, these two". Jo also noted that Rex
was the more controlling and possessive of the two, but that
Nicole was acting like a diva.
Host George Lamb then showed a VT featuring Nicole blubbing,
Rex being a total ar*e and the pair arguing, cuddling and
snogging. But when asked who was to blame for all the friction,
the guest psychologist said, "It's six of one and half-a-dozen
of the other". In other words, they're as bad as each
George then showed another VT recorded last week where Big
Brother asked Rex if he was happy that Nicole is in the House.
The 24-year-old answered, "I am very, very, very happy
that she's in the House, but if I had a choice, I'm not sure
I'd have wanted her to be here"
Rex also waffled-on about the fact that he is now 'two people',
feels responsible for sticking-up for Nicole and is judged
on what she does. "It increases the surface
area for attack," concluded the obnoxious chef.
However, although Rex tried to make-out that he's okay with
his girlfriend being there, Jo begged to differ, saying that
he's feeling much more vulnerable now and his body language
gave away that he absolutely does NOT want her in the House.
Jo also noted that although Nicole is a spoilt brat, Rex
is emotionally insecure and his odd relationship with Nicole
hasn't gone unnoticed among his peer group either, with Darnell
having suggested that the 19-year-old blonde is a trophy girlfriend
and noting, "Rex is on her 24/7" i.e. she can't
get away from him to talk to others.
It'll be interesting to see how things go now that the divide
has come down, but to be honest Rex's game was over the minute
Some fans blame Big Brother for doing that to him, but perhaps
they forget that Rex is in control of everything he says or
does, and his own behaviour has ultimately been his downfall.
