Mario Proposes... Friction Ensues
Blimey. Big Bruv certainly knows how to put the cat among
Just 12 hours after meeting and being asked to pretend they're
a couple for the first task of the series, Mario and Stephanie
now have to make-out that they're getting married... this
For the all-scheming entity called Mario to the Diary Room
today and gave him two hours to propose to Steph, but she
couldn't know it was part of the task. And if the economics
student – 23 years younger than her fake beau –
had said no, then she, Mario, Lisa and Luke would have failed
their secret mission and been up for eviction on Friday.
Luckily, however, Stephanie said 'yes' when Mario proposed
by the pool, although she later admitted to her cohorts that
she didn't know what to say.
About Steph's decision to accept Mario's proposal, an excited
Bex said, "For a minute I thought you were going to say
no," but there were plenty of congratulations from her
peers, and even tears from Kat.
Steph did her best to cover the increasingly-preposterous
ruse, remarking, "It was such a big thing, coming in
this house with him (Mario)," but she couldn't wait to
get into the Diary Room to tear a few strips out-of Big Bro!
However, the atmosphere soon turned bad when Mikey subsequently
relayed a conversation he'd overheard in-which some of the
group suspected it was connected to a task. "Some have
said Mario has a gameplan, a big scheme," stated the
Meanwhile in the bedroom, Lisa told Mario that it looked
'natural and convincing', but Alexandra and Sylvia soon stormed
into the House to have a pop at Michael for repeating what
he'd heard and for stirring things up.
But Big Bro soon calmed things down by announcing that the
wedding would take place on Sunday, which prompted a cheer
from the group.
So, things are calm for now, but how long will it be before
the conspiracy theories start-up again?
