Gerry: "I'm Not Here To Play Games"
On what might turn-out to be his last night in the Big Brother
House, nominee Billi was chatting to Charley and Gerry about
his approach to being on the show in the early hours of Friday
morning. During their conversation, the latter re-iterated
that he's not there to play games.
Telling his Greek peer that he can't sympathise with people
who enter the House with their eyes shut, Billi re-iterated
that the contestants were all warned what the show would be
like, what's likely to happen and how they might be perceived
Gerry accepted the point, but then added in response, "I'm
not here to play games... to cause trouble just to be seen
on the newspaper charts. I'm sorry, this not what I've come
here to do".
"You don't have to cause trouble, you just have to be
entertaining," replied Billi, hinting that he came into
the House with something of a gameplan.
But then Gerry asked his peers if they thought getting into
fights was entertaining, to which Charley replied, "That
is not entertaining. I don't like doing it". Ahem.
The gobby 21-year-old then told her gay peer that he'd done
some funny things that would get him into the tabloid newspapers,
to which Gerry replied, "If you tell me you've been picking
fights just to get in the newspapers...?"
The camp researcher then re-iterated that Big Brother is
supposed to be a social experiment, and is about doing tasks,
the different personalities getting on with each other and
the conversations that might ensue.
So, it's not about attention-seeking wannabes looking for
their 15 minutes of fame and trying to make a few quid or
get new careers then Gezza?
