Richard And Imogen Have Bonded... Or Have They?
Richard survived possible eviction against her boyfriend
Sezer last night, but it didn't stop the waiter having a bit
of a bonding moment with Imogen this afternoon.
Chatting in the bedroom about the experience of facing eviction,
Imogen asked, "What's it like, are you shaking?"
In response, the camp Canadian said that it's like being on
a rollercoaster when you're waiting for it to get going.
Imogen seemed genuinely interested in what he had to say,
as Richard explained that he was just being his usual 'loud'
self in the House. This was in response to Imogen's claim
that she's normally the loudest one in a group, something
Sam also said about herself a bit later.
After saying that he thought his pal Lea was 'a very good
Mother and a gentle and compassionate woman' but was perhaps
perceived differently, Richard advised Imogen to think about
what she does in the House.
"There's no reason why a person who started off on the
wrong foot with the public can't change things," was
Dickie's sound advice, before offering Imogen good wishes
for the coming week.
However, although things between them seemed to be going
well, Imogen later moaned in the Diary Room that Richard had
said there was a calmer atmosphere now but that, "Everyone
got on with Sezer anyway".
Still, their luxury meal together took place later-on, where
the pair had a good old chinwag and learnt about one another's
past. But again, Imogen's real feelings were concealed, as
she later agreed with Grace and (separately) Lisa, that Richard
only invited her along to avoid being nominated.
Whatever, the girls could do with taking some of Richard's
advice, because if they don't move away from the 'Sezer mentality'
pretty soon, the writing will be on the wall in respect of
their futures in the game.
