Yesterday, John, Mario and Rachel were named as this week's
nominees, but this afternoon they competed in another of Big
Brother's Save & Replace tasks.
In the 'Bug Off' task, the trio had to don insect outfits
covered in velcro, and make their way up a giant piece of
super-sticky pretend flypaper laid on the grass in the garden.
On their first attempt it was clear that the nominees hadn't
understood the rules, so they were given a second go.
This time, they made their way along the flypaper 'commando'
style, with Rachel struggling to unstick herself and taking
over 4 minutes, John James doing much better and taking 49
seconds, but Mario veritably zipping along and finishing in
just 27 seconds.
So, Mario had won, and he therefore got the opportunity to
put someone else in his place and save himself from facing
eviction this week.
The 28-year-old declared that he couldn't put one of the
girls up, didn't want to choose Andrew because the maths expert
took being chosen last week badly, and was therefore deliberating
between Dave and Steve. He duly flipped a button to decide,
and ended-up choosing Dave.
As a result, Dave, John James and Rachel will now face eviction
this week, and early indications are that motormouth Scouser
Rachel could be in trouble.
Who goes? YOU decide!
The voting telephone lines will open on Wednesday evening
and we'll detail the numbers in our Nominations section when
they do. In the meantime, you can vote in our Seventh Eviction
Poll, which you'll find in our Big
Brother Polls section.
