As we revealed here,
one more housemate will join the group tonight in light of
latecomer Laura's departure on Wednesday after a mega-short
stay, which arguably makes her the least memorable Big Brother
Just to remind you, the Stratford sales assistant arrived
last Friday along with fellow latecomers Jo and Joe John,
having been chosen by the housemates themselves.
When Laura quit, we started a Poll asking which of the rejects
that didn't make it into the House last Friday night would
be welcomed the most by fans.
57% of fans wanted Joel, the 33-year-old self-proclaimed
'sexiest fat man' who spoke-out about Steve, saying he thinks
he's untouchable, while 28% were keen to try and even-up the
boy-girl ratio by choosing 20-year-old bar assistant Megan.
Just 15% of fans wanted Sam Pepper, the outspoken and annoying
young graffiti artist. Still, the show's producers have chosen
to ignore public opinion and put him in tonight.
When the housemates were deliberating over who to choose
last Friday night, it was unanimous among anyone who'd met
the gormless-looking Kent lad at the auditions that they didn't
want him in the House.
The other contenders from last Friday night also said on
BBLB that Sam was the person they would least like to be in
the BB House with, and it transpires that he riled a lot of
people at the auditions.
The Big Brother Top Bods obviously think the 21-year-old
will shake things up and cause some friction, which, after
all, is what fans want. We just hope he can deliver, but it
has to be said that we would much rather have had the controversial-slash-comedic
Sam will be housemate number twenty-one.
