In the past, the Big Brother producers have been accused
of picking certain types of people to fill different roles,
something they've always denied doing when inviting people
to apply for the show. This afternoon, a savvy Ben defined
those roles for some of the Big Brother 11 bunch.
Having been accused of not being a team player by his peers,
the posh boy admitted that it's true, going as far as to say
that he even told the producers as much during the audition
"They selected me precisely because I'm not
a team player. I couldn't have made it clearer that I wasn't
a team player," said the 30-year-old in a fit of honesty,
before going-on to define why some of his peers were chosen
to take part.
"They chose you (John) 'cause you have arguments, they
chose you (Dave) 'cause of your religion, they chose Steve
'cause he's an honourable person with a war record, they chose
Nathan because he's a down-to-earth alpha-male bloke."
He went on: "They chose Corin because she makes herself
up and is sort-of perfect, they chose Josie 'cause she's lippy
and squeezes spots".
Um, we accept that the BB Top Bods probably wanted a combination
of ditsy, gay and argumentative characters in the House, but
since when has there ever been a call for a 'spot-squeezing'
