Amidst plenty of speculation about his sexuality, some of
Ben Duncan's friends have come forward to say that he's not
On last night's 'Big Brother's Big Mouth' show, the topic
turned to 2nd Eviction survivor Ben, with guest Scott Mills
opining that he's a nice guy and not a game-player.
The conversation inevitably led to speculation about Ben's
sexuality, with an audience member saying of the blonde toff:
"He's definitely gay; he's just so touchy-feely,"
However, Mills defended Ben by saying that he's not gay, he's
just foppish and metrosexual.
Then, a female friend of Ben's, who was in the audience,
said of her posh pal: "He's not (gay), he's just seriously
uber-metrosexual," before claiming that the 30-year-old
is very 'hands-on' with everyone.
And his best mate has backed-up that claim, telling OK! magazine
that Ben is just a very affectionate guy. His long-time pal
– also called Ben – claimed that the toff is '100%
straight' and gets lots of attention from girls, but conceded
that he gets attention from guys too.
On the subject of Ben's vagueness about his own sexuality,
the other Ben reckoned that the Big Brother contestant simply
doesn't want to come across as anti-gay, and has been brought-up
to deem the issue a private matter.
Ben has previously suggested that he 'dabbled' in gay relationships
while at school, hinting that there may have been some petting
etc. Frankly, that's nothing unusual for someone who attended
public school, and it doesn't necessarily indicate adult sexuality.
Last week we ran a Poll asking fans if they think the eccentric
broadcaster is straight and just gets on well with/ is very
tolerant gays, or if he's gay and in denial. The public were
split, with 52% of voters in the former camp (no pun intended!)
