We've only just got over the strained John-Rachael 'thing'
by getting shot of the latter, but tonight there was a potentially
awkward situation between Shabby and Caoimhe.
Having confided to Corin in the early hours of the morning,
Shabby and Caoimhe's mutual friend Ife was fretting over the
fact that she'd advised Shabs to tell Caoimhe how she feels
about her (she fancies
As Ife and Corin retreated to the garden to join Shabby,
Ife uttered: "Oh God. It's just a very awkward situation
now," before whispering to the gay squatter: "I
don't think you should tell her".
Meanwhile, Caoimhe had been left in the snug alone, wondering
what was going-on and thinking that her friends had heard
something bad about her.
Ife then contradicted herself, reverting to her original
stance and telling Shabby that she should say something,
despite the fact that Caoimhe had only just been talking about
how much she loves her partner. Just to clarify, Caoimhe is
going-out with a guy called Dave.
Shortly afterwards, Ife and Shabby retreated to the bathroom
to discuss the situation, but having been woken-up and made
a cup of tea by Corin, Caoimhe came-out to find them. And
yet again, she walked into the room while her pals were talking
"What the f***'s going on?" said the Irish beauty,
laughing, but an embarrassed Shabs just left the room quickly.
Next, Caoimhe and Shabby went into the garden for a frank
chat, where the latter confessed: "I really like you,
basically". Caoimhe replied: "I like you too,"
but when Shabs pushed her point and explained her crush, Caoimhe
just laughed at her, putting her response down to awkwardness.
In the end though, a flattered Caoimhe was fine with it,
and was at pains to explain that her entrance VT, where she
stated that she'd fancied a few girls, wasn't a lie, but explained
that since then she had fallen in love (with a guy).
"This will not change anything, at all," concluded
Caoimhe in reference to Shabby's confession, but she didn't
help the situation by subsequently telling her pierced pal:
"When I first saw you, I thought you were one of the
most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life".
Arrgh! Don't blinkin' say THAT keeve'!
