After the Humpty Dumpty task earlier in the day, some of
the housemates were feeling tired and a little cranky, and
it didn't help that Big Brother tried to keep them awake by
repeatedly playing the alarm sound into the House.
This angered John James, and when Govan and Jo decided to
wind him up about having bad breath and smelly feet, it went
down like a lead balloon.
Although they were only messing about and trying and get
a rise out of the Aussie hunk for a laugh, he wasn't impressed
and – suffering from a huge headache – advised
them to stop.
But the mischievous pair continued to tease him, and when
John caught Josie on her own, he went into a rant and told
her she'd gone too far, prompting the Bristolian to respond
with: "Oh, look out. Rachael's gone, so now you're looking
for someone else to argue with, is it John?"
The former car body worker was infuriated by her comment,
and while he took time out to get himself some aspirin from
Big Brother, Josie dubbed him a 'drama queen'.
When the 24-year-old returned from the Diary Room he challenged
her with: "Josie, why are you acting like this? You're
supposed to be my friend. I told you I had a headache, why
did you not get the point?"
In response, Josie told John that he couldn't use his anger
to upset her in the same way that he'd upset 1st Evictee Rachael.
However, not long afterwards, John was seen packing his suitcase
to leave, having become upset himself due to the friction.
John was quickly comforted by Corin as he sobbed and said
of Jo: "I don’t know why she kept going, I didn’t
even do anything". The pair were soon joined by Ben,
Mario and Steve who arrived to give support.
Eventually, Josie came into the bedroom having heard that
John was in tears, and after a little chat the pair agreed
that they'd both been in the wrong.
