Ben Causes A Big Bust-up

Ben Duncan Causes a Big Bust-up

Tonight – the night before the second round of nominations – Ben seemingly decided to make as many enemies as he could, by causing a huge row involving pretty-much the entire group.

Following John James' little tiff with Josie earlier in the evening, Ben advised the Australian housemate to be wary of Govan, saying of the voluntary worker: "He's playing games again, running around from person to person". Furthermore, Ben suggested that Govan was the one winding Josie up and encouraging her to mock him (John) earlier.

Ben also told John that he'd seen Shabby rubbing her hands when he threatened to quit after his argument with Josie, the inference being that it was 'with glee'. However, for some reason, John subsequently told Josie and Govan what Ben had said of Shabby, which predictably got back to their leader.

This caused a huge argument, whereby first Shabby told Govan of Ben: "I f***ing despise him. I think he’s a piece of s**t," before going into the House to challenge the posh broadcaster over his stirring comments.

There followed a showdown between Gobby, sorry, Shabby and Ben, which saw Ben getting defensive as Caoimhe, Govan, Ife and Nathan backed Shabby up. "Today had nothing to do with any of us, and we've all just got involved because of what you said," snapped Caoimhe as Ben desperately tried to backpeddle.

Prior to that, an upset Ben had challenged John for opening his mouth, and in a heated conversation peppered with expletives, JJ apologised for saying anything to Govan before admitting that the hassle with Shabby was 100% his fault, something he regretted.

In the end, Ben and Shabby agreed to drop the matter and stay out of each other's way, but afterwards, sat in the kitchen chatting to her clan, Shabby continued to gun for Ben and other members of the group that she doesn't like.

Meanwhile, Dave advised Ben to stop thinking about the game and who might nominate who, and just be himself.
