Last night, John James said that he would give all of the
£100,000 prize money to pseudo-girlfriend Josie if he
won Big Brother 11.
The former car body worker, who isn't short of a few 'quid
in light of his Father's tragic death, has repeatedly suggested
that he probably won't win, and did-so again last night, claiming
that Josie is a much more likely Winner.
And, having resigned himself to the fact that he won't win
(which is pretty much a given now), he said of the prize money:
"I would have given mine to Josie. Originally, I was
going to give it to charity, but as time went on I decided
to do that".
The Aussie hunk added that he never intended to keep the
cash, and had also considered splitting it up between all
of the housemates, or awarding it to the series Runner-up.
On that note, we've always thought that the second and maybe
even the third-placed contestants should receive some kind-of
reward for getting so far. Anyway, getting back to John's
plans for the prize money, what happened to helping Steve?
For the housemates had a conversation weeks ago during-which
they pledged that if they won, they would buy the double-amputee
some new legs. Notably, however, Ben didn't agree with the
notion, feeling that the Winner shouldn't be blackmailed into
spending their money on something if they don't want to.
