Yes, we know what you are thinking: 'What the hell? Big Brother
is all about being cut-off from the outside world'. Exactly,
but that didn't stop the show's producers giving-in to John
today, and allowing him to talk to former housemate Nathan
As mentioned here
John made a derogatory comment about Nathan's girlfriend Rachael
yesterday, effectively suggesting that she was a prostitute.
Nathan, who like Rachael was temporarily visiting the House
to take part in one of Bob Righter's dilemmas, subsequently
told Corin that he wasn't happy about John's comment.
Corin then told John what the sometime rugby player had said,
somewhat exaggerating the situation by talking about the need
for extra security when he leaves the House.
As a consequence, John became extremely worried that Nathan
might set upon him when he gets out, so he threatened to quit
the game. However, the 24-year-old told Big Bro that he would
feel better if he could talk things over with Nath, and the
entity has obliged this afternoon.
Despite the fact that Nathan had written on his Facebook page:
'I'm gonna kick me some aussie ass! Ha ha ha', John claimed
that the trainee joiner was okay with him and hadn't threatened
any violence. He also claimed there were no hard feelings
on Nathan's behalf.
Talking to his peers in the garden after his visit to the
Diary Room, John stated that his Mum apparently wants him
to leave via the front door. So, he declared that he would
stick it out, suspecting that he'll be evicted on Friday anyway.
In response to the news, Mario said: "Let this be a lesson.
Sometimes you have to hold your tongue".
Some fans are outraged that John has been pandered-to in this
way, with the consensus being that the C4 and Endemol Top
Bods allowed the phone call in a bid to nip any potential
violence in the bud and stave-off possible controversy for
Other fans are annoyed that John felt the need to apologise
to Nathan, but not Rachael.
