It's Nomination Day
It's Monday, which means that it's nomination day, and today
is the last time that the group will nominate during this
series of Big Brother.
Cam, Nush, Ray, Scott and Steph were eligible to both nominate
and be nominated this week, although Jon could not get involved
in the proceedings.
There was speculation earlier in the day over whether Jon
was actually eligible or not, with Steph saying during a conversation
with Ray, "...What I'm saying is, can Jon vote?"
Using logic usually applied by the man himself to every situation
he faces, Cameron, Ray and Steph later concluded that under
Big Bro's Rules, Jon wouldn't be eligible to win.
"Once you leave the House, you relinquish the chance
to win the 70 'grand," remembered Ray.
When it came to making their nominations, the group took the
longest amount of time yet, almost 90-minutes, and found it
particularly tough. Big Brother had reminded the group of
their obligation to provide non-flaky reasons.
Cameron took the longest to deliver his noms and blamed Big
Bro for loads of it's typical conversational pauses, adding,
"I'll explain it all when we get out", referring
to his reasons.
Before the nominations had taken place, Jon wound Ray up by
re-iterating the Rules to the group: "As a returning
housemate, Jon cannot nominate or be nominated this week".
The Tickle then flippantly said, "Did I forget to tell
you I had immunity this week?" prompting Ray to go off
in a huff, moaning about how unfair it was.
This week's nominees won't be revealed until Tuesday afternoon/
evening, when we'll be detailing the voting telephone numbers
and adding a new fun Poll to our Home page.
Our money's on Steph, although the housemates themselves have
predicted that the nominees for the 9th Eviction will be Cam
and Steph. Check back on Tuesday to see if they're right.
