7th Weekly Task/Result: Ray's Roulette Risk
A few days later than normal, Big Brother revealed details
of this week's task this morning, which was a game of roulette
The only person eligible to participate this week was 'Head
of House' Ray, who decided to gamble all of the group's £51
shopping budget, although he could have gambled none.
Placing all six of chips, five £10 and one £1,
Ray bet £20 on red, £1 on black, £10 on
red number 21, £10 on black number 29 and £10
on red number 16. There was potential to win over £300.
With the other housemates watching his actions on the plasma
screen in the lounge, the Irishman took one spin of the wheel,
only for it to land on black number 8.
As this wasn't one of Ray's numbers, he could therefore only
claim winnings for backing 'black', which was £2. Oh
So, the shopping budget for next week is just two 'quid...
it's a good job that they stocked-up on everything last week,
as that equates to just 40p per week, per person!
"Two measly quid, yay!" cried Ray, in mocking disappointment
at his own disastrous efforts.
Solely responsible for spending the shopping budget this week,
Ray went for a loo roll, some tins tomatoes and sweetcorn,
and two fresh carrots.
Before the task, Cameron had said, "Don't worry one way
or the other; if you lose it all... good and well," but
will he be feeling the same way now that Ray has actually
lost the lot?
