Opinion Polls - Which Two Will Go?
There's around 24 hours to go now, until the 4th and
the 5th evictee will leave the Big Brother House. But who
is it likely to be?
We've taken a look at the polls this afternoon to try and
work it out.
Obviously, it's a bit of a tricky one to call this week, as
fans are in the unique situation of having more than one eviction
on the same night to vote for. When this usually happens (i.e.
on the Final Night) we are voting for who we want to win,
not boot out.
However, how it will work on Friday night, is that at around
8.35pm the person that has received the most votes, or the
most disliked by the public if you want to look at it that
way, will be revealed and then kicked-out as the 4th evictee
during the 10pm show.
Voting will then continue and the 'second least popular' housemate
will leave during the 11.15pm show.
Looking at the polls, Channel 4's breakfast TV show RI:SE
had the following result this morning (Thursday), with the
percentage figure indicating how many people want rid-of the
Cam - 29%
Fed - 37%
Jon - 24%
It wasn't exactly conclusive though, as things were fairly
close between all three really. Also, any such poll in these
circumstances is only going to indicate who the 4th evictee
is likely to be.
A major UK portal showed even closer figures in respect of
the potential 5th evictee, with:
Cam - 29%
Fed - 47%
Jon - 24%
So, we looked at another busy Big Brother fansite and found
the following figures, which told a completely different story,
presumably due to site-specific bias (i.e. more fans who go
to that site dislike Cam than is the general public opinion):
Cam - 54%
Fed - 36%
Jon - 10%
However our own Poll, featured on the Home page of the Big
Brother Online site, seeks to find out who the 4th and 5th
evictees will be in one go.
With the 'least liked/ most hated' name appearing first and
the name in brackets representing which housemate fans would
choose as the 5th evictee, our poll currently (Thursday pm)
Cam (+ Fed) - 24%
Cam (+Jon) - 6%
Fed (+ Cam) - 37%
Fed (+ Jon) - 19%
Jon (+ Cam) - 5%
Jon (+ Fed) - 8%
From that, it looks like Fed and Cam are set to go, but which
one will go first? Well, using a top-secret algorithm devised
by erm, 'world renowned mathematicians' or something (we just
made it up!), we've managed to analyse our own figures and
came up with this:
Cam - 33%
Fed - 50%
Jon - 17%
Which, if anywhere near accurate, would lead you to believe
that Fed will go first on Friday night, followed by Cameron.
