Superhero Characters Revealed
The housemates have each had to come up with their own superhero
persona for the latest task and here's what they chose:
Cameron - Known as 'Silver Fox', this black lycra
clad hero strives to return dyed hair back to it's natural
grey state. His arch-enemy is, of course, 'Hair Dye Guy' and
the follicle-obsessed hero's motto is: "Death To The
Fed - 'Camp Man' (erm, is this guy trying to tell
us something?) wears a costume consisting of a red catsuit
with a pink visor and cape - what else?! The mincing hero
seeks to clamp down on the tomfoolery of lager louts and his
motto is: "I can fire laser beams with my limp wrists.
My wrists may be limp but I'm sure not a wimp". <in
stereotypical camp voice> Oooh, he's so butch!
Gos - The big fella's alter-ego, 'Hip-Hop Man', seeks
to fight the evils of his arch-enemy, 'Boring Music Man'.
He does this by bringing 'real music' to his peeps, and his
motto is: "Keep it real".
Jon - 'King Stomper' is on this earth for the sole
reason of, erm, actually we have no blinking idea! However,
arch-enemy 'King Of The Stunties' had better watch out, or
he might feel the power of the 'super heavy stomp'. No doubt
something to do with Dungeons and Dragons or whatever, his
motto is: "Stomp those stunties!"
Nush - Rather a mouthful, 'The Pink Pooper Scooper'
comes to the rescue to clean the streets and parks of excess
doggy doo. Wearing a pink catsuit, black velvet gloves, a
cape and a mask, the hero has a bark that only humans can
hear and her motto is: "If a dirty dawg shoots poop,
I will endeavour to scoop!’
Ray - 'Baldy Guy' wears a blue lycra bodysuit, cape
and pants, complete with green goggles and Jamiroquai-style
headwear. The chrome-topped hero can blind enemies with the
shine from his bald head and has been, "Sent to Earth
to protect and serve the folically-challenged". His arch
enemy is 'Hairball Hippy'.
Scott - With a purple catsuit and yellow cape, 'Couch
Potato Boy' has the rather handy ability to 'remote control'
people. 'Mr Active' is his arch-enemy and his motto is: "I
am vegged out for the good of the common man." A man
after our own hearts here at BBO!
Steph - Known as 'Pocket Dynamite', this superhero
has the ability to turn into a ball of fire as she recites
her motto: "With one touch I will ignite!" Arch
enemy 'Extinguisher Man' had better beware the silver and
back clad nemesis. Mind you, so had the housemates if she
really can do that; could be dangerous!
Tania - Dressed in a deckchair-patterned cape and
short red skirt, 'Colour Girl' has the ability to add colour
to people's lives. Motto: "With one blow I give you colour...
with a twirl I spread colour."
Cameron was the first housemate to be called to duty and
the others watched in amusement has he performed his pose
to the sound of Fanfare for the Common Man.
However, it was Fed's alter-ego who gave the group the biggest
laugh, as the skinny superhero rushed to get his costume on
and subsequently struck the most ridiculously funny pose on
So, with all these adults dressed-up in dodgy superhero costumes,
the first night has been like a 5-year-old's Birthday party
gone wrong, but how will they fare over the next three days?
Will the spandex chafe in all the wrong places? Will Ray
and Cam, sorry, 'Silver Fox' and 'Baldy Guy' team up to sort-out
the nation's hairdressing problems? Or will Fed's 'Camp Man'
be forced to pull-off a special move and perform 'YMCA' to
stun his enemy?!
Keep it here to find out.
