Justine Leaves The House
27-year-old sales manager Justine Sellman has tonight become
the second person to be evicted from the Big Brother House.
It was almost a 57% majority in the public vote that ended
Justine's stay, versus 43% for fellow nominee Jon. This means
that Jon has now survived twice in a row and that girls
have been the first two contestants to go.
The girls were outraged at the circumstances of having lost
two of their own in succession, however we've seen it before
on BB - Lynne was evicted first last year and then Sunita
bailed-out, before Alison got the boot at the 2nd Eviction.
And, seeing as a girl won that series, this lot have
nothing to worry about yet.
Having packed her bags, dolled herself up and rebuked Jon's
efforts for a final chat, Justine was ready to go. As Davina
announced that she was on her way, the group jumped around
singing, 'I Love You Baby'.
The lift-style doors closed on Justine's suitcase as she headed
towards the staircase, slightly prolonging her time with the
group before she disappeared up and away to freedom.
As the 'dressed to the nines' BB reject reached the outside
platform, there was a slight pause while she took it all in,
before a wave to her family and a tearful reunion. Davina
then dragged the second evictee along the 'walk of shame'
and into the studio.
There, the host asked Justine if she was surprised to hear
her name called instead of Jon's and the answer was in the
affirmative. "I desperately wanted to stay," revealed
the gutted ex-housemate.
However, although shocked and disappointed, JS was philosophical
about leaving: "I'm a realist, life goes on, it was only
a game show, nobody's died", said she.
Having seen the VT, the brash Leeds girl told Davina that
she thought the nomination reasons against her were lame and
claimed that she did pull her weight whilst in the
She was also shocked to learn that John had received all the
press coverage this past week and pulled a bemused face at
the very concept. Justine refuted the suggestion that there
might still be a chance of anything between her and pal-turned-enemy
So, we're down to 4 girls and 6 boys now, but we think the
boys are likely to suffer a loss next Friday.
