Housemates' Reaction To The Nominations

The nominations were revealed to the group early this morning to coincide with 'Big Brother's Big Breakfast' again, and the news was met with indifference... at least, to start with.

Faria's face didn't really show any emotion, while Dennis simply nodded; both nominees claiming to be 'cool' with the outcome of the vote.

Third nominee Pete, who seems to have embraced the idea of evictions and accepts that getting the chop is just part of the game, didn't show a flicker.

"Second time for me... onwards and upwards," he stated, and later told Traci that he was genuinely 'thrilled' to be up.

However, it wasn't long before the news was playing on the mind of Faria, who had a pop at the apparent hypocrisy of her peers when talking to Traci.

Meanwhile, Dennis suggested that the result had been 'engineered' by Big Bro, saying, "You got Pete that's keeping the show going with all the activity he's got going. Then you put in Faria, the one that people could easily vote out. Why would you do that? So you can get the phones going".

Presumably, his point was that Faria's name was only added to help generate revenue and keep Pete in? However, although it's true that the result was manipulated due to Rula's 'pants' vote, viewers will vote-out who they want, so Pete could still go.

Unless, that is, fans realise and accept that the controversial 80's star is undoubtedly the centre of attention and the show would be duller without him.
