The Live Task - 'Housemate Knowledge' Test
Earlier today the housemates were set a task: to learn as
much as they could about each other. This was in preparation
for tonight's live task.
The task was a quiz where each housemate had to choose one
other person to answer questions on. They would each be asked
three questions on their chosen housemate.
The reward for scoring over 10 points from a possible 15,
was the choice of £10's worth of tea, cigarettes or
vegetables. The group chose tea.
Anne was first up and answered two of her three questions
Les chose to answer questions on Mel, but answered all three
incorrectly. Upon exiting the diary room the ex-game show
host said, "That is a stitch-up," referring to the
fact that the questions seemed especially hard.
Hmmm, did Big Bro 'fix' things purely because Les had
been so vocal earlier in the day, saying that he wouldn't
nominate his pals if he lost the task and was required to
do-so?! We'll never know.
Mark went next and got all three questions right about Sue.
Mel then correctly answered her three questions about Mark.
By this stage, the group had eight points and needed Sue to
gain at least two more in-order to pass the task. And that's
exactly what she did, answering questions about Anne.
So, the group passed the task and would receive their tea,
but towards the end Les was pacing up and down, knowing that
he'd already lost and would therefore be forced to nominate.
Looking distraught, Les entered the diary room to give his
nominations and protested that he actually got one question
correct on a technicality.
However, Big Bro wasn't having any of it and besides, it would
still have meant that Les was the nominator, as nobody else
got less than two questions correct.
In the end, it was a harsh twist but showed that Big Brother
still has a few tricks up it's sleeve, even though this is
effectively the 5th series of the show.
