Marks New Hair-do

The girls were preparing to cut Marks hair today, but he almost ended-up with a rather messier style, courtesy of an Anne Diamond prank!

Having been sat reading women's mags, it was decided by the girls that the one-time 'pin-up' needed a new 'do'.

So, Sue offered to wash while Melinda was in-charge of the scissors.

"What do you want done with it?" asked Melinda, adding, "Just a trim?"

But Mark wasn't overly keen on a change, even though he didn't seem particularly phased when Mel announced that she'd only ever practiced on a dolly, not a real person!

However, when the sexy Swindon girl suggested that she should straighten his locks, Mark was horrified. "Oh no," he protested.
Then Anne, a bit of a Mark Owen fan by all accounts, got involved and agreed that he would lose his 'boyish, roguish' good looks without his long wavy hair.

However, later in the afternoon Anne decided to play a prank on the pop-pixie:

She cajoled 'King Prankster' Goldie into helping her chuck a load of flour over Mark whilst he was in the shower - a true 'Jackass' style stunt, in-which the flour should-have curdled in his hair.

But the prank didn't really work, as the singer failed to even notice when Goldie lobbed handfuls of flower over into the cubicle.

So, Mark retains his dishevelled look after all then.
