Could It Be Curtains For The Chickens?

No, don't worry, they haven't let 'barbarian' Anne Diamond near the coop with a knife, but the housemates have been seriously underfeeding the 'chucks over the past few days.

Having developed the greatest bond with the chickens so far, Les was doing his best to try and spice-up their diet yesterday.

However, upon checking the flock this morning with Anne, he realised that everything wasn't as it should be. "Oh my god, they're starving!" he said, as Anne worked-out that the poor blighters hadn't been getting enough to eat.

After a trip to the diary room to check with Big Bro, it was established that the rations had been totally miscalculated and Les was taken aback by his error.

"I was worried that I wasn't giving them enough 'cos I didn't know how much to give them," said the concerned game show host.

Then, to further compound the problem, Melinda announced that the chicken feeder itself wasn't working properly.

Oh dear, even though Anne has given up trying to get them into the oven, it seems that Les is inadvertently helping her!

So, will his fowl friends survive until the end of next week? Keep it here to find out.

Only yesterday, mother of four Anne suggested slaughtering one of the unsuspecting birds. But today, she came to their rescue by realising Les' mistake. Coming over all mumsy, she asked the coop: "Are you hungry poor dears? I'm gonna give you a load more" She then added: "If in doubt, overfeed," and emptied the entire contents of the chicken feed bag into the coop.

But the mishaps didn't end there. Minutes after the discovery, Melinda told Anne that the chicken feeder itself wasn't working and that yesterday she had to shake it for the feed to fall down.

Will the chickens survive? Was there fowl play? The mystery continues
