Anne's Kentucky-Fried Plan

Just like the previous Big Brother housemates, many of the celebs have been rather taken with the chickens in the Big Brother garden.

Akin with BB1's Darren Ramsey, Les seems to have really hit it off with his new-fowl friends and went outside to tend his flock this morning.

However, his farming skills weren't really up-to-scratch, as he suggested feeding the chucks their own egg shells to pep-up their boring diet of pellets.

According to our expert, whilst you can feed them shells for extra calcium, they really should be fed oyster shells. The danger of feeding them with their own egg shells, is that they might start to break and eat their own eggs.

So, best NOT to then Les, you don't want to turn them into cannibals!

In true Big Brother tradition, Les began naming the chickens, with the first one being called 'Steve'. This was a nod to 'The Great Escape' star Steve McQueen, after his new feathered pal tried to fly out of the coop and do a runner.

However, Anne was less enamoured with the chickens and, like Alex during BB3, suggested that they should kill one and eat it!

Les was immediately riled and declared in genuine shock, "I've bonded with those chickens!" Goldie was also on Les' side, saying, "I can't believe it! Of all the people I thought would want to kill a chicken... not this sweet, innocent woman!"

He then referred to the ex-morning TV presenter as a, "Barbarian, psycho, chicken killer!"

"Okay, bad idea," conceded Anne almost immediately, sensing that she was on her own in this Kentucky-fried plan... not that Big Bro would have allowed one of the chucks to end-up as fodder for the 'not as slim as she was' celebrity anyway!
