The Group's Reaction To The Nominations

The eighth round of nominations took place yesterday and only seven out-of the eleven remaining contestants got the chance to vote.

Big Brother gathered the group together this evening to hear the result of the nominations, as Rex held Nicole's hand through the divide and Dale sat next to Stu on the sofa.

There was silence as Stuart's name was called, the property man giving a kind-of victory sign with his clenched fist in response. When Big Bro named Dale next, the smaller hunk smiled, looking as pleased as punch.

Once Big Bro had finished, the two nominees high-fived each other and whooped, as Rex came across to congratulate them. Normally, the nominees' peers would commiserate, but remember that the lads have made a big fuss about wanting to go lately. Still, Rex seemed extremely chuffed that he wasn't up.

Dale said, "If Stuart goes and I stay, I'll be pi**ed-off 'cos Stuart's gone (and not me). But if I go and Stu stays, I'll be pi**ed-off 'cos people like him more than me!" The 21-year-old then remarked: "It's over for one of us on Friday Stu". Indeed.

Stu later told his younger peer that he will likely survive because he'll get the female/ teen vote, and recalled that Dale's name has been shouted over the wall by fans loads of times.

This is the second time that Dale and Stuart have faced eviction, having both gone 'up' for the first time last week when nine people were in the running.
