Who Goes Tonight? You've Already Decided!
The title of this article would normally be 'Who Goes Tonight?
YOU Decide! However, as you may know, the voting lines closed
a day early and so the result is already known to the Top
Bods at Channel 4 and you can't affect it.
Some fans will undoubtedly get caught-out this week, and
in our view C4 should have made it mega-clear with flashing
lights and sirens at the end of last night's highlights show
that the lines would be closing within a couple of hours.
As mentioned here,
due to the shorter voting period the result will likely be
skewed, and it means that while Luke should be going tonight
according to our Poll (which was within 3% accurate last week),
we're not entirely convinced that it won't someone else, such
We say that because there will likely be less votes cast
this week, so things will possibly be closer. This is especially-so
when you consider that fans who had strong opinions about
getting 'big character' Luke out on Tuesday night when the
nominees were announced, were not able to vote for him immediately
if they were itching to do-so.
That's because as the lines didn't open until the following
day for a change, so a good number of those detractors would
have postponed registering their vote until Friday night,
intending to call-in during the two live shows. Such people
may get caught-out if they're unaware that the lines have
Anyway, there are eight people facing eviction now that Maysoon
has gone, and the top four in our eviction Poll are Luke,
Dale, Mohamed and Rex, on 38%, 17%, 16%, 11% respectively.
Of that lot, we would rather see the back of Mohamed, as
although Luke has been a bit sullen lately, he will doubtless
have gotten over Bex's eviction by next week and could come
back to life. We appreciate that some fans find Luke highly-annoying,
but at least he keeps things buoyant.
Actually, why are we even talking about Luke, Dale, Mo or
Rex? The person we'd actually like to see sent packing is
serial dullard Rachel, and it's staggering that fans choose
to keep someone like that in the game over Luke et al.
The producers have been accused of manipulating things this
week, and due to their lame explanations for putting extra
people 'up', for opening the lines a day later and closing
them a day earlier, we definitely smell a rat. However, they
might aswell of gone the whole hog and changed it to 'vote
That, surely, would have seen the back of the boring Welsh
girl who was accused by Rex of creating a persona just to
get on the show, but simply couldn't live up to it?
So, who goes tonight? Er, you've already decided!
We'll have to wait until tonight's Channel 4 shows at 9pm
and 10.35pm to find out. In the meantime, why not check-out
who we've backed to win the series here.
