Seventh Round Nominees Announced

The seventh round of nominations took place yesterday and for the third time in a row, the Hellish Housemates had to complete a task in-order to win the chance to nominate. They successfully separated over 10,000 sprinkles (hundreds and thousands) into six different colours, so all twelve housemates got the chance to vote.

According to the nominations, the two people who should be up this week are:

Dale and
Luke

However, further to this article from earlier today, Big Brother has punished a whole stack of housemates for breaking the rules by talking about nominations. So, although Dale and Luke still face eviction this week, so do:

Darnell
Kathreya
Maysoon
Mohamed
Rachel
Rex and
Stuart

So, as hinted-at by Big Bro when it took Stu's HoH status away earlier today, and as subsequently predicted by the group, the all-seeing entity has decided to doll-out a mass punishment. What this means, however, is that with nine people facing eviction, we don't have a clue who will go!

By rights, fans should take the chance to get shot of terminal dullards Maysoon or Rachel this week. However, just as such contestants often last a long time in the game by not riling their peers and getting nominated, fans don't care enough to bother voting them out when the opportunity arises.

In other words, there are always bigger fish to fry, which just perpetuates the problem because the boring ones remain in the game, even though they add nothing to the show.

Looking at our recent Poll asking who should go next (before the nominees were announced), Luke was way out in front having gained a third of the vote, and that's against eleven other people.

Mohamed and Dale were the next nearest on that Poll, so we have to conclude that it'll likely be one of those three going this week, erring more towards Luke and Mo as the likely contenders. Obviously, we'll have more of a idea who's set to get the boot at the 7th Eviction by Friday morning.

If you have a good idea who's likely to be leaving this week, why not try and win yourself some cash by placing a little bet on the eviction? Just visit our Betting Zone and click the links to the bookies there. Both offer a free bet of up to £25, and you can bet on anything (e.g. the Overall Winner) to qualify for your Free Bet. It's just a bit of fun really, but we've made over £600 so far this series, so it can pay off.

Who stays, who goes? YOU decide!

The 7th Eviction of Big Brother 9 will take place on Friday the 1st of August 2008 and voting lines will open on Wednesday – Big Bruv is busy employing more computers to handle all the lines! The voting telephone numbers will be detailed in another article from our Latest News section then.

Don't forget to vote in our Home page Poll relating to the 7th Eviction and remember, it's just for fun so you still need to register a phone vote or two if you desperately want rid-of one particular nominee.
