Darnell Angry Over Reneged Deal

Former Head of House Darnell came to the Diary Room tonight to let off some steam about the deal that went awry when he handed-over power to Dale.

According to Big Brother, Darnell shouldn't have had anything to do with the choosing of his successor, nor this week's Heavenly Housemates. However, it seems that he was involved in the pact that we hinted-at in previous articles.

The deal was more complicated than we first thought though, but to cut a long story short it went something like this: Darnell talked to contender Maysoon about allowing Dale to become the new Head of House, on the understanding that Dale would take Sara to Heaven and that she (May) would join Darnell in Hell.

Are you keeping up?

Anyway, either Maysoon struck a better deal with Dale, or he was acting off his own back just to rile Darnell, but the trainee teacher chose to snub Sara and keep Maysoon when he named the five Heavenly Housemates this morning.

So, Darnell moaned to Big Brother: "I'm just really angry right now. We made a deal for Sara to get on that side of the fence, and Dale reneged on that deal. I can't even look him in the face, honestly".

The irate songwriter waffled-on about he and May decided it was for the best, and reckoned that Dale didn't need to pick Rex. In other words, both women could have gone to the nice side.

Darnell attacked Dale's character and claimed that he sacrificed his own place on the Heavenly side, but frankly there is no way that Dale was ever gonna' choose him anyway.
