Who Goes Tonight? YOU Decide!

During the past five weeks, Steph was the first housemate to be evicted, Alexandra got sent home and then Dennis followed the same fate. Next, Sylvia became the 2nd Evictee and last Friday night Jennifer became the 3rd.

So, five people have gone, but just three left through the front door. Tonight, either Mario or Rebecca will join the latter group of people, leaving the Big Brother House at the 4th Eviction having lasted 37 days in the game.

When we announced the nominees on Tuesday afternoon, everyone – including bookies and tabloid newspapers – thought that Rebecca would be the one going on Friday. For fans wanted her out big time in the four days between Jen leaving and the nominees being announced, and our Polls testified to that.

However, Polls asking who fans want out before they know who's 'up' are hypothetical, and as soon as fans knew who was actually facing eviction, they switched to wanting Mario out.

We can only think that fans are taking the chance to get rid of the serial Bullshiner while they have the opportunity, especially in light his recent behaviour towards Lisa?

Mario had something of a rocky start in the popularity stakes, berating Steph for not putting enough effort into the Wedding task/ secret mission of the first few days. However, he somehow managed to survive possible eviction at the end of Week 1.

The 43-year-old's continual management-speak and Health & Safety waffle grated on fans as the weeks went on, but he did give it a break and consequently came across in much better light at one point.

Ultimately, however, the tedious behaviour resumed, as did his propensity to 'big himself up' and make (what comes across as) exaggerated claims about what he's seen and done in his life. I mean, just a few days ago he said, "I'm a personnel assessor, I've been a personnel officer, I've been a magistrate, I've done it all".

We probably should put some kind-of legal disclaimer for having hinted that Mario is a bit of a liar, but when you have a guy that says he spent 22 years at the Post Office, 7 years in the army, retired 4 years ago and is only 43, it just doesn't add up. What, so he started work at 10?

We're not going into the reasons for getting-rid of Rebecca this week, as we covered them in this article announcing the nominees. Also, it's not really worth it, because we believe that Mario will go tonight with around 65-70% in the public vote. If you really want rid-of either nominee though, remember that you must register your vote, or you may get a surprise.

Who goes tonight? YOU decide!

You can find the voting telephone numbers for the 4th Eviction of Big Brother 9 in the relevant article from Week 5 of our Latest News section. You have until around 9.30pm tonight, Friday the 11th of July 2008, to register your vote/s.

Don't forget to tune-in to the two Channel 4 shows at 9pm and 10.35pm tonight to see who gets the boot. In the meantime, why not check-out who we've been backing to win here.
