Dennis Plans To Apologise To Mohamed

Ex-BB9 contestant Dennis McHugh has been talking to a tabloid newspaper about his experience of being removed from the game last week.

Speaking to The Sun, the 23-year Scot apologised to his family and claimed that he'll say sorry to Mohamed when the Somalian toy demonstrator gets out-of the Big Brother House.

The spitting incident which saw him removed from the game was, in his opinion, 'fuelled by drink', and Dennis vowed never to drink alcohol again. On the night in question, the group had been drinking cider.

About the allegation that he spat in Mohamed's face, Dennis told the tabloid that he was positive he didn't actually spit (saliva) into Mo's face, he merely made the action.

Still, having had a few days to think about things, Den said of the matter, "I'm disgusted with myself, it was completely out of character. I'm not that type; I don't get into arguments, I don't get into fights. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm a happy, fun kind-of person".

Doubtless aware of the public's change-of-opinion on shamed star Jade Goody after the infamous race row of CBB5, Dennis hopes that the public don't hate him and will accept that he's genuinely sorry for what happened (for a recap, see Days 22 and 23 of our BB9 Latest News section).

"Big Brother was meant to be a journey of self-discovery but look what I've done... I mucked it up," he admitted, before adding, "It's my mistake and I'm going to regret it for the rest of my life".

Now you know, BBO readers, why we've always said that we wouldn't go on Big Brother. Everyone hopes for fame and fortune these days, but if your appearance on the show goes wrong for you, it can go badly wrong and affect your real life.
