Dennis Has Been Removed From The Game

Further to this article from earlier today, 23-year-old dancer Dennis McHugh has been removed from the game due to his unacceptable behaviour.

An argument escalated last night in the early hours which culminated in Dennis spitting in Mohamed's face; Mohamed did not retaliate. See our other news articles from Day 22/ 23 for more details of the bust-up.

Both Dennis and Mohamed were interviewed by Big Brother in the early hours to discuss the incident, and after production staff reviewed footage of last night's events this morning, Dennis was called to the Diary Room at 1.15pm today and sent home. His peers were informed shortly after.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "Spitting in someone's face is seriously offensive and Mohamed was understandably upset. Big Brother has very clear rules about offensive behaviour. Like all housemates Dennis was clearly informed before entering the house that he faced eviction if he acted in an unacceptable manner".

Viewers will be able to see the incident and how it was handled in tonight's highlights show on Channel 4 at 9pm, just prior to the 2nd Eviction.

To clarify, the 2nd Eviction involving Mohamed and Sylvia will proceed as normal, and voting continues.
