Rebecca Wants To Make Money

It's taken a while, but some housemates had a mini 'What would you do with the money you'll make from Big Brother?' style conversation this morning.

The conversation started when Rebecca said that she would be prepared to risk opening Big Bro's mystery envelope and face a possible stint in the tiny jail. This happened to her last week when the envelope – which may contain a good or bad thing – had a 'Go Directly to Jail Card’ in it.

"It could be an envelope saying that you've won £50,000 this week," Bex said to Lisa, Luke and Mario, but then speculated that it might offer her £100,000 to leave the show, an amount equal to the prize money.

A similar thing happened during Big Brother 6 in 2005, when runner-up Eugene Sully was offered a chance to take half the prize money, £50,000, but with no catches. He took it.

"I've never had £1,000, let alone £100,000," explained Bex, having said that she would definitely take such an offer.

The kindergarten nurse then stated that she wants to buy a load of clothes, make-up and a dog after leaving the Big Brother House. Also, that she'd like to pay-off all her debts, presumably hoping to make a few 'quid from her appearance?

"Just enjoy it while it lasts," said Lisa philosophically. Luke wasn't quite so positive though, ribbing his 21-year-old pal by saying about desire to get a pet, "It'd be dead within a week!"
