Den Discusses 'Shattered Eye' Conspiracy Theory

Early risers Mario and Dennis speculated about the Big Brother 9 'shattered eye' logo this morning, continuing Luke's latest conspiracy theory from last night.

Last night, Luke explained to Dennis and Sylvia that the eye on the book of Rules features sixteen shards that reach the centre, the same number as there were housemates on Launch night.

Furthermore, the five shards that don't reach the centre supposedly represent how many additional housemates Big Brother will put into the House. In response, Darnell suggested that the red shard represents 'the dagger that caused the eye to shatter'.

This morning, Dennis told Mario about the theory, however Mazza wasn't entirely convinced having spotted that the shattered eye on the Diary Room door has around thirty-two lines on it. Busted!

So, the big guy turned his attention to the colour of both eyes on the Diary Room door, agreeing with Dennis that green represents jealousy but saying that the main eye looks like it has been set on fire.

After some chat from Dennis about how the luxurious bathroom seems to good to be true, Mario noted that all the triangles around the place look like shattered eye pieces, but had no explanation for what it meant.

And we have no idea either; all we know is that the show's Top Bod Phil Edgar-Jones said before the show started, "Big Brother knows that power corrupts, and this year’s gameplaying will undoubtedly shatter the housemates’ hopes of an easy summer”.
