Dennis Confronts Group Over Bullying

Dennis caused a stir tonight by holding a group meeting about bullying amongst other things.

Earlier in the day, the gay dancer hinted that he was intending to shake things up because people weren't speaking their minds, concerned that some of his peers were being oppressed by bullies.

So, after the group's civilised evening nosh-up, Dennis decided to speak-up on the issues that were bothering him, although his intent wasn't entirely clear.

"There's certain issues I have," began the 23-year-old, before launching into a lengthy declamation about anything and everything to do with the House.

However, after encouraging his peers to confess to their own wrongdoings, his biggest issue seemed to be the 'two-faced, victimising and bullying' of certain housemates.

Dennis admitted to Big Brother yesterday that he actually came into the House with a gameplan – to be two-faced and friendly with everyone – but reckoned that he couldn't keep up the act.

However, the Scot took offence when Sylvia suggested that the pair would do well to keep their distance from Alexandra, in-order to avoid being disliked by the public.

That seems like sound advice to us, and it's not really being two-faced if they have to swap small-talk with the gobby national hate figure. After all, they do live together in a confined space.

Fans have already speculated that the show's producers may have had a quiet word with Den and asked him to broach the subject of bullying. However, it seems unlikely given that he appears to have effectively sided with Alex, not gone against her.

And if that's the case, his speech today was somewhat hypocritical.
