Mario To Enter House And Propose Marriage

Mario is set to return to the House, but don't worry if you voted him out, because he'll only be staying for five-minutes or so!

4th Evictee Mario Marconi (real name Shaun Astbury) is set to come back into the Big Brother House, after having been evicted at the end of Week 5 when 77% of fans wanted rid-of him over fellow nominee Rebecca.

However, the serial bullshiner will not become a housemate again, rather he is returning for the sole purpose of proposing to partner Lisa Appleton, who entered the House with the BB beefcake on Day 1 of the series. Lisa is currently up for eviction, but is fully expected to survive tonight.

43-year-old Mario, who spouted lots of Health & Safety waffle while he was on the show, was involved in a fake marriage as part of a task. However, this weekend he will ask 40-year-old girlfriend Lisa to marry him for real, and fans will get to see how it all unfolds live during 'Big Brother's Little Brother' on Channel 4.

When Mario was evicted, Davina asked him if he was going to marry his partner of three years, someone he met through an ebay transaction. In response, Mario said, "To answer your question: possibly, yes".

After being evicted, he begged the producers to let him go back in to propose, but initially they dismissed the idea. However, presumably they've now changed their minds as the series is starting to run out-of steam, mainly because (in our opinion) it's two-or-three weeks too long these days.

Anyway, don't forget to tune-in to BBLB on Sunday the 24th of August 2008, when you can expect Lisa's face to show about as much emotion as a ventriloquist's dummy when Mazza pops the question!
