Group Thinks Mario Will Go

Luke has been asking his peers who they think will get the chop at tomorrow night's 1st Eviction, and the majority seem to think it will be Mario. Mario, meanwhile, thinks it will be Steph.

The big guy challenged his fellow nominee (not that they were actually nominated) tonight, asking, "I've seen you going around the group. You're not daft; what does everyone think?"

Luke revealed that many had mentioned Mario's name, but added, "Quite a few people think Steph will leave though".

Mario tried to shrug it off, saying that he isn't a wannabe and doesn't need to stay. Lisa then piped-up that people were trying to split the couple up, perhaps forgetting that it's somewhat irrelevant what the other housemates think, because it's the public who ultimately send people home.

Earlier, Steph was in tears when chatting to Luke, blaming Lisa and Mario for being too 'obvious' during the task, and expressing concern that the public would penalise her for her efforts.

"I just couldn't kiss him, it's the age (gap)," added the 19-year-old, referring to the fact that Mario is more than twice her age. Steph then suggested that things would have been different with any of the younger guys.

Luke consoled the blubbing blonde and said of his own efforts: "If I'm evicted tomorrow night, I'll know that I couldn't have done it differently".

Later-on, Mario told Sylvia and Dennis that he was looking forward to seeing his three kids, but would be disappointed if goes tomorrow because he's so competitive.

"It's a case of watch this space, 'cos you don't know what's gonna happen," concluded the salesman.

Indeed. For the next instalment of misplaced confidence or bravado, watch this space!
