Mario Proposes... Friction Ensues

Blimey. Big Bruv certainly knows how to put the cat among the pigeons!

Just 12 hours after meeting and being asked to pretend they're a couple for the first task of the series, Mario and Stephanie now have to make-out that they're getting married... this Sunday.

For the all-scheming entity called Mario to the Diary Room today and gave him two hours to propose to Steph, but she couldn't know it was part of the task. And if the economics student – 23 years younger than her fake beau – had said no, then she, Mario, Lisa and Luke would have failed their secret mission and been up for eviction on Friday.

Luckily, however, Stephanie said 'yes' when Mario proposed by the pool, although she later admitted to her cohorts that she didn't know what to say.

About Steph's decision to accept Mario's proposal, an excited Bex said, "For a minute I thought you were going to say no," but there were plenty of congratulations from her peers, and even tears from Kat.

Steph did her best to cover the increasingly-preposterous ruse, remarking, "It was such a big thing, coming in this house with him (Mario)," but she couldn't wait to get into the Diary Room to tear a few strips out-of Big Bro!

However, the atmosphere soon turned bad when Mikey subsequently relayed a conversation he'd overheard in-which some of the group suspected it was connected to a task. "Some have said Mario has a gameplan, a big scheme," stated the blind man.

Meanwhile in the bedroom, Lisa told Mario that it looked 'natural and convincing', but Alexandra and Sylvia soon stormed into the House to have a pop at Michael for repeating what he'd heard and for stirring things up.

But Big Bro soon calmed things down by announcing that the wedding would take place on Sunday, which prompted a cheer from the group.

So, things are calm for now, but how long will it be before the conspiracy theories start-up again?

Keep it here to find out!
