Suspected Twist To 'Jack-In-The-Box' Task

Today sees the first task for the 'Halfway Housers', which will decide who remains in the Hostel and who says adios to their three peers and 'Hola!' to the bona fide housemates in the other gaff.

Amy, Jonty, Shanessa and Ziggy will dress up as Jack-In-The-Box puppets, and will be asked to sit in, erm, boxes and spring out, 'Zebedee' stylie, when just an hour is up.

However, they won't be given any idea how much time has passed, so will doubtless be sat in their boxes counting in 60-second batches in a bid to get somewhere near the 60-minute mark.

And it will definitely be worth their while, as whoever gets the closest to the hour will win a place in the main Big Brother House.

However, we suspect that Big Brother has a little twist planned, which will give power to the winning 'Jack' by allowing them to choose who they swap places with.

So, depending on whether Big Brother dupes the winner into choosing or lets them know why they're choosing, and assuming there's no limits on who can be chosen, it's entirely feasible that David or Kara could be on their way back to the Hostel after just 24 hours in the main Big Brother House. Gutted!

Tsk, Big Bro is such an evil, scheming old entity, but you've gotta' love the unpredictability of it all now.
