More Information On Big Brother's Hostel Twist

Details are still a bit sketchy and frankly it's not especially easy to understand, but here's what we know about the Big Brother Hostel, in addition to what we said in this article earlier today.

Tonight, after Charley's inevitable eviction, the five newbies will arrive at Big Brother's 'Halfway House' and the nine remaining housemates will be made aware that they're there.

Then, on Monday, two housemates from the Hostel will swap places with two of the longstanding Big Brother contestants. Those two ex-Hostel guests will then become fully-fledged housemates who are eligible to win the game and will face nominations like everyone else.

However, the big twist is that the two people who move to the Hostel will have unwittingly jeopardised their future in the game, because they may not be coming back.

To clarify, the five people who are then living in the Hostel will be in a kind-of limbo, and will face tasks and trials to decide who makes it (back) to the main Big Brother House. So, seeing as they won't all be making the move, it's feasible that someone who's spent months in the game already will be sent home next week.

We don't know the ins-and-outs of it just yet, but this could turn out to be a highly controversial twist. Still, at least it'll shake things up and no-one can deny that it restores the 'unpredictability' of the first few weeks.

We say that because favourites Amanda, Brian or Liam could have their game cut short and there's nothing fans can do about it; viewers will have no say in who moves where.

Here at BBO, we reckon that's a good thing, as we're not really attached to anyone in particular this time around. If you disagree, however, please head for our Discussion Forum and have your say!
