Will Charley Face Eviction This Week?

The eighth round of nominations takes place this afternoon, so we've had a look at whether Charley is likely to be up this week, despite her 'woe is me' act in the days since Nicky was evicted.

Let's first consider who has nominated the mouthy 22-year-old historically:

At the first round Ziggy alone chose the nominees, but he didn't plump for Charley that week.

At the second round, newbies Gerry and Seany interviewed all the housemates for two people to help them nominate (they chose the Twins), but once again Charley received no nominations.

However, by the third round, when everyone could nominate, Charley started to receive her first nominations and was chosen by Chanelle, Liam, Gerry and Ziggy. Unfortunately for fans, however, she didn't receive enough because Seany and Carole both got a whopping five nominations each.

When the fourth round came along, Charley was nominated by Amanda, Chanelle and Ziggy. However, this was the week that Big Brother dubiously penalised Billi and Charley by taking away their nominations; Billi's nomination for Charley, if counted, would have put her up.

At the fifth round, Chanelle, Liam and Ziggy nominated the controversial Londoner, but that wasn't enough and so Chanelle went up-against Laura in the end.

Charley was up after the sixth round though, as a result of Chanelle, Liam, Sam and Ziggy all nominating her. However, she wasn't actually going anywhere because it was a fake eviction, and Charley returned soon after she left.

The seventh round took place shortly after Charley was fake-evicted, and she manipulated her peers when she returned by claiming to be popular on the outside. Also, Chanelle and Ziggy had just one vote each after being penalised, and frankly Ziggy wasted his. Only Chanelle and Liam nominated Charley this week.

So, looking forward to forthcoming round, there are 10 contestants left in the game, but discounting Charley that leaves 9 people who could possibly nominate her. Tracey isn't going-to vote for her friend for sure, so that leaves 8 people who could possibly nominate her.

Of those 8, six have nominated Charley in the past, that's Amanda, Sam, Chanelle, Gerry, Liam and Ziggy. Only Carole and Brian haven't nominated her before, and Charley seems almost guaranteed to receive votes from Chanelle, Gerry, Liam and Ziggy this week.

Plus, there's less people in the game now, so the other housemates have less potential nominees to choose from. In other words, seeing as Brian and Carole are unlikely to choose the Twins, will they go for Charley now that their options have been narrowed down, and because she caused friction when she returned after the fake eviction? Also, will the Twins both nominate Charley this week for the same reason?

In summary, Charley could scrape though this week, but unless two other housemates get five or more votes each, it's very unlikely... unless Big Brother pulls another stunt to keep her in. Ahem!

If Charley is up this week, the news will be welcomed by the majority of fans, as we ran a Poll for the duration of last week and 70% of fans wanted her out as soon as possible.
