Brian's Mum Says He's A Fake
Brian's foster Mum Sue has told the 'News Of The World' Sunday
newspaper that Brian is faking his apparent stupidity.
We wrote this
article on Day 32, detailing how Dermot O'Leary had quizzed
Brian's old school on the matter of whether he was likely
to have studied Shakespeare or not. It transpired that the
data clerk would have done, in year 9.
Then we wrote this
article a day later, where Brian's Mum effectively claimed
that her son had a gameplan and isn't really as thick as he
comes across.
Now, three weeks on, Bri's Mum has repeated and embellished
that claim, telling the NOTW that Brian believes acting dumb
is the answer to winning Big Brother.
In the tabloid article, 53-year-old Sue Wood said, "He's
the brainiest in the family. My other two sons look up to
him academically". Furthermore, she confirmed that he
was always willing to learn at school, did media studies at
college and, get this, studied Romeo and Juliet at school!
Also, what you have to remember is that Brian is a massive
fan of the show, and indeed his own bedroom at home is apparently
a shrine to it. So, he will have seen how well 'thick' or
naive housemates such as Jade Goody and Chantelle Houghton
have done in terms of their success during/ after a series.
Given that his Mum says the 20-year-old is a great performer
who has always excelled at acting, it very much looks like
the Brian we've been watching during Big Brother 8 is a made-up
character, which is a somewhat staggering revelation.
Some fans are bound to be miffed by the news, but others
will accept that Big Brother is a gameshow and be happy that
Brian is playing it to his own advantage.
We're not so sure, because traditionally dishonest housemates
don't do well, and so why should Brian... especially when
you consider that the qualities which make him endearing to
fans may not be real?
So, does the bookies' favourite deserve to Win? YOU decide!
