Who Goes Tonight? YOU Decide!

Tonight, either Gerry or Nicky will follow in the footsteps of disqualified contestant Emily, quitter Lesley, evictees Shabnam, Seany, Billi and Laura, and 'fake' evictee Charley. However, unlike last week, the evictee at the 5th Eviction Proper will be gone for good.

Regards Gezza, it's the first time the Greek housemate has faced eviction, and although he's not massively popular with fans, they have much bigger fish to fry this week. So, Gerry (and Freddie!) will be safe.

We say that because Nicky has been something of a hate figure since the first few weeks of the game, and we detailed why in our article from Day 48 announcing the Seventh Round nominees (see Latest News section).

Nothing has changed over the past few days and frankly, we didn't expect it to. Nicky is too moody, moany and two-faced to survive against the sometimes annoying, but ultimately harmless Gerry.

At least Gerry can make his peers laugh at times, something 'Serious Sally' Nicky seems woefully incapable of. So, her sour-puss face – well, both of them to be frank – will be leaving the House tonight. And as we said in the aforementioned announcement article, we expect her to get around 75% of the vote, perhaps even 5 or 10% more?

That'll leave just two members in Charley's crumbling coven (if you count Tracey), which will hopefully be disbanded next Friday when she gets thrown-out along with her broomstick at the 6th Eviction of the series. We can but hope.

Who stays, who goes? YOU decide!

You have until around 9pm tonight, Friday the 20th of July 2007, to register your vote. You can find the telephone voting numbers in another article from Week 7 of our Latest News section, where you'll also find details of this year's charities.

Why not come and have your say in our Discussion Forum, or just read what other Big Brother 8 viewers are saying about the show if you'd rather do that? It's quick-and-easy to register and get going if you'd like to get involved in all the BB8 banter.
