Seventh Round Nominees Announced

Well BB fans, it seems that Charley's non-stop lies about her popularity with the public on the night of her return might well have worked...

The nominations took place a day early this week, and Chanelle and Ziggy were only allowed one vote each as a punishment for discussing nominations. Anyway, the result after the seventh round is that the following housemates are up this week:

Gerry and Nicky.

Poor old Gerry has had a bit of a rough time in there lately, mainly because as soon as he opens his mouth to say something intelligent, his peers take the mick' or leave!

Charley's got it in for him big time, and when he stands up for himself he tends to get little support from the group. And the more he alienates himself from the group, the less support Gerry is likely have from the fans.

Still, he's by no means a hate character, whereas fellow nominee Nicky is to an extent (although nowhere near as much as Charley, who 65% of fans wanted out this week according to our recent Poll).

We've said it all before about Nicky: she's moody, bitchy, moans about unimportant stuff, has rekindled the man-hater thing and to top it all off, has now sided with Charley and appears to be the closest thing the mouth-almighty Londoner has to a friend.

And we all know what happens to Charley's allies (like Shabnam and Billi), they get the boot!

That's exactly what's likely to happen this week too, and at a guess we'd say that Nicky will go on Friday with a 70/75% majority in the public vote.

Who stays, who goes? YOU decide!

The next eviction of Big Brother 8 will take place on Friday the 20th of July and the voting lines are now open. The voting telephone numbers are detailed in another article from Week 7 of our Latest News section.

Don't forget to go and vote in our Poll relating to the 5th Eviction Proper, which is just for fun and can be found in the right-hand margin of our Home page. Also, why not come and discuss the possible outcome of the eviction with other fans in our Discussion Forum?
