Charley Gets A(nother) Warning
During an argument with Gerry earlier today, Charley started
throwing personal insults and ended-up throwing water over
the Greek researcher twice.
The 31-year-old duly retaliated, but even though Liam claimed
it was 'just a splidge', Chanelle agreed with Gerry that it
wasn't on. About the incident, the gay housemate said, "It's
typical bullying (by) Charley, and I'm not going to take it".
He subsequently asked Big Brother to have a word with the
gobby jobseeker, and the all-seeing entity consequently called
Charley into the Diary Room and told her:
"Big Brother considers your behaviour to be provocative
and unacceptable. As you are aware from the House rules, Big
Brother will intervene and take appropriate action if housemates
behave in a way that Big Brother considers is unacceptable."
As a result of her actions Charley received a formal warning,
although she tried to make-out that she was just being playful,
and also said that Gerry had flicked water over her too. However,
Big Bro pointed-out that he'd done that in self defence i.e.
he'd been provoked.
"I do take my formal warning into consideration,"
said Charley, but then this is actually her second warning,
as she got one for mentioning the 'n' word in conversation
during her 22nd Birthday party.
On that occasion, Charley was recounting how she met a Chelsea
footballer and said to him, 'Easy ni**er'. Apparently no-one
heard her say it though, and the comment was not broadcast.
However, former housemate Emily Parr got booted-out for using
the same word, and although we don't want to get into the
debate about when its acceptable to use it, you have to wonder
what Charley would have to do in-order to get removed from
the game herself?
Some advice for Channel 4: one more serious rule-break and
you should kick Charley out without hesitation, however important
you seem to think she is to the show.
